White Shells and Cheese

Talk about some cheesy shells and cheese. I love macaroni and cheese. It’s one of my comfort foods I turned to when I’m either stressed or feeling sick. I also like a variety of mac and cheeses. White Shells and Cheese was inspired by some I had at Saltgrass Steakhouse. It’s not a duplicate of it, just inspired by it. If you haven’t had a chance to try their mac and cheese, you should order next time you’re there if you have one close by.

Ingredients..
All you need for this is some shells (you can use macaroni noodles instead), queso blanco cheese and a little bit of whipping cream. Once the water starts boiling, it will take about 12 minutes to cook the noodles. Then mix up the cheese and cream. Add the noodles back in and you got yourself an awesome creamy cheesy side dish.

What is your comfort food?
What to eat it with…
Bacon Fried Onion Cheeseburger

Thanks, Bobbi, For Sharing such a quick Cheesy and Creamy recipe. What kind of different cheese we can use in this recipe? Thanks again for this quick side dish.
Howdy Francesco!! You could use any type of processed cheese, such as Velveeta. Did you know that it comes in a pouch now? No need to cut/dice it up. If you choose to use any type of cheddar, just remember you’ll need either milk or cream for the right consistency.
Thanks so much for stopping by!!
