Ingredients
3QuartsWater
12OzShell Macaroni
8OzQueso Blanco Cheese, CubedCan sub with white cheddar (sharp or mild)
1CupWhipping Cream
1/4CupBread Crumbs
1CupWhite Cheddar, Shredded
Instructions
Pour water into a large sauce pan and bring to a boil. While waiting for the water to boil, dice the cheese.
Once water starts to boil, pour noodles in. Cook for 12 minutes or until tender. Drain in a colander and set aside.
Preheat oven to 400°.
In the same sauce pan, add the cheese and cream. Stir together.
Pour the drained noodles on top of the cheese and stir until melted.
Add mac and cheese into an 8 x 8 baking dish.
Sprinkle bread crumbs on top.
Bake at 400° for 20 minutes.
Remove from oven. Sprinkle white cheddar cheese on top of bread crumbs. Place back in oven for 5 more minutes.
Remove from oven. Let sit/cool for 5 minutes before serving.
