Turkey Sausage and Rice Casserole

I’m a huge casserole maker. This one is my Turkey Sausage and Rice Casserole.
Call me lazy maybe, but I love all or most of the foods combined in one bite. Maybe it’s not lazy, maybe it’s just the combination of the foods I like. Either way, you’ll see I make a lot of them. And most of them are combinations of what I either have on hand at the time or what I’m craving. I very rarely make the exact same casserole twice.

For this one, I combined potatoes and rice. Starch heaven, I know, but I never combine starches like that and wanted to see what would happen. It actually tastes better than I thought it would.
What I used….
It has turkey sausage, instant rice, cream of potato soup with a little bit of milk. I was going to add the cheese in when baking it, but my daughter and I thought it would be better if everyone could choose how much cheese, if any, was on there own plate.
I also wanted to add some green onions, but half the peeps eating this don’t like onions. Pooh on them. You could totally add extras in yours. This is so basic that there is plenty of room to spruce it up.

What will you add to yours? Or will you eat it like mine?
Like casseroles too?
