Is banana bread really bad for you?
You do need to be careful with banana bread. It tends to be high in saturated fats and sugars. You can’t call them healthy just because there are bananas in it.
Banana bread in donut pan
All these are is exactly that. Banana bread batter poured into a donut pan. Do you like cake donuts? Do you like banana bread? Then you’ll like these.
How ripe should bananas be for banana bread?
The best ones are black or almost black. These are the ripest of the ripe. If yours has splotches or streaks of black on the peel, that will work as well.
Glaze/Icing
To make the glaze, mix the following ingredients and pour/drizzle over the Banana Bread Donuts.
- 1 1/4 cup – powder sugar (confectioners)
- 3 Tbsp – Milk
- 1/2 Tsp – Vanilla
