How long is homemade Chex mix good for?
If stored in an airtight baggie, or container, the ranch snack mix is good for 4-6 weeks.
Can Chex mix be frozen, or the Ranch Snack Mix?
Yes. Freeze in an airtight container for up to 4-6 months. Suggestion: don’t let the ranch snack mix thaw in the bag. Pour it out onto a baking sheet, paper towels, or in a bowl.
How do you make Chex mix not soggy?
If baking it, it shouldn’t be soggy unless you added too much butter. Before storing the Ranch Snack Mix, make sure it has cooled down to room temp. Putting it in a bag or container while still warm will cause moisture and it will get soggy.
