Do you bake ziti covered or uncovered?

In my opinion, I think you should bake the ziti uncovered.

What goes with baked Ziti?

These go great with any pasta dish.

  • Cheesy Bread
  • Garlic Bread
  • Salad
  • Broccoli
  • Green Beans
  • Asparagus

Should I undercook pasta for baked ziti?

Yes, just slightly. The pasta will cook a tad more in the oven and you don’t want overcooked, mushy pasta.

  1. This looks great, Bobbi. I made baked ziti pretty often with a red sauce, but I haven’t used it with a white cream sauce. Also, I’ve never made my own white sauce. I’m pinning and plan on trying this.

    • Thanks Beverly! It’s so much easier than you think. I wish I could eat the red sauce, so I have to go with white ;( I think I’ll bake this next time…what do you think?

      Thanks for stopping by 🙂
      Have a great day !

      • I think it would be great baked. I make an oven bake using Bertolli’s Alfredo Sauce with various noodles. I’m sure your homemade version would be delicious as a baked dish.
