Bacon Ranch Chicken

Here is a great idea for your next family meal.  This doesn’t take long to prepare (other than marinating), but that’s easy to start. Then just take the marinated chicken out of the fridge and wrap the bacon and toss in the oven.  Pretty easy if you’re asking.

How long does it take to bake chicken at 400°?

Typically, it will take 20-25 minutes to bake chicken at 400°. That being said, you have to keep in mind that all ovens vary, as does the thickness of the chicken. You should aim to cook the chicken to a minimum of 165° internal temperature. Mine took 45 minutes.

How long does chicken take to bake at 350°?

Same as above, typically, it will take about 25-30 minutes to bake chicken at 350°. Keep in mind, all ovens vary as does the thickness of the chicken.

What temperature should the Bacon Ranch Chicken be cooked to in the oven?

The safest internal temperature for chicken (poultry) is 165°. I’m a little freak about my poultry and I always cook mine to 170° – 175°. Make sure you always have a thermometer to check.

Bacon Ranch Chicken

Equipment

  • 9×13 Baking dish

Ingredients

  • 3 Boneless Chicken Breast
  • 8-10 Ounces Ranch Dressing
  • 12 Slices Bacon
  • Parmesan Cheese Optional

Instructions

  • Marinate chicken in Ranch. Refrigerate 12-24 hours prior to cooking.
  • Preheat oven to 400°. Spray casserole dish or 9×13 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Slice each breast in half. You will now have 6 halves.
  • Wrap each chicken half with 2 slices of bacon and place in pan. You could use one per slice if desired.
    Bacon Ranch Chicken
  • Cook on 400° for 40-45 minutes or until the chicken reaches 165°-175°..
  • Sprinkle with Parmesan after removing from the oven. Let sit for 10-15 minutes before serving.
