Yes. You can put raw pork chops in the slow cooker as long as you cook them long enough. Pork should have an internal temperature 160°.
How long does pork take in slow cooker on low?
Depends on the weight. For bigger servings of pork…6-7 lbs should take 9 1/2 hours, 3-4 lbs should take 6 hours on low.
How long does the slow cooker cheesy pork chops take to cook on low?
For the slow cooker cheesy pork chops, it will take only 2-3 hours on low after cooking on high for an hour.
Is it better to slow cook on low or high?
If you have the time to cook on slow, do it. However, sometimes we have time constraints that cooking on high is better for us.

Slow Cooker Cheesy Pork Chops
Equipment
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 – 2 Lbs Thin Slice Pork Chops
- 1 Can (10 3/4 oz) Cheddar Cheese Condensed Soup
- 1/2 Cup Milk
Instructions
- Pour soup and milk into your slow cooker. Stir well.
- Add in the pork chops. Make sure each pork chop is covered with the soup mixture.
- Cook on high for 1 hour. Then turn the heat down to low and cook an additional 2-3 hours.
