What makes a great meatball?

Most people think of or use ground beef for meatballs. But, did you know that fattier meats like lamb and pork will make more tender meatballs.

You can always find a recipe you like and just change up the type of meat you use.

Is it better to fry or bake meatballs?

Baking is a bit more healthier and helps those who have tummy issues with fried foods. However, in my opinion, frying taste better. You choose how to make them.

Do meatballs need eggs?

No. Eggs can make meatballs denser and spongy. You can add them as a binder, but don’t overdo it.

  4. I like the idea of leaner meats being mixed together. Sometimes because the turkey is so lean, it tends to not stick together as well. Thanks for linking at the Yuck Stops Here party.

  5. Turkey and pork sounds like a great meatball combo. I usually do pork/beef, but I’ll have to give turkey/pork a try.
