Philly Steak Omelet

Here’s an new way to eat an omelet with the Philly Steak Omelet. Obviously I have some philly steak meat and I’m making up some cool stuff with it. I just recently made Philly Grilled Cheese, which was pretty good if I say so myself. This Philly Steak Omelet was no different. I love steak and I love Philly Cheese steaks, so I’m putting it in every thing now.

I used chopped green onions instead of regular onions to give it some color. You can still use regular yellow or white onions. Saute them with the meat and then throw in the bell peppers for the color. Of if you don’t care about color, then use whatever you want. I have to say though, I really liked the green onions. Will definitely use these with the philly steak meat again.

What’s it made of?
What’s in this omelet? Philly Steak meat, chopped green onions and provolone cheese. If you aren’t a fan of the provolone cheese or the philly steak mix, just use the steak meat and make it your own. Steak omelets are awesome no matter what you mix it with.

Philly Steak Omelet
Equipment
Ingredients
- 6 Thinly Sliced Steak Meat Steak-Umm
- 2 Eggs, beaten
- 1/4 Cup Green Onions, Chopped
- 2 Slices Provolone Cheese
Instructions
- In a medium skillet, on medium-high heat, cook the steak and onions about 5 minutes or until done. Drain on paper towels.
- Wipe out the skillet and spray it down with non stick cooking spray. Reheat the pan back up to medium-high heat.

- Flip the eggs.
- Add one slice of cheese, cut/folded in half, on one side.
- Add meat/onion mixture on same side.
- Add the other slice of cheese on top of the meat.
- Fold omelet in half. Cook another minute or two.
- Slide out of pan onto plate. Top with green onions, if desired.
