A cookie bar is made using cookie dough. Instead of making individual cookies, you place all of the dough in a baking pan. When they are done cooking, you have one big giant deep dish cookie. You can cut these to whatever serving size you want.

The smaller the baking dish, the thicker they will be. Be careful not to put this entire recipe into anything smaller than a 9 x 13 pan/dish. You will have a hard time cooking the middle through.

Can I bake cookies on/in a glass pan?

Yes, I have made these Peanut Butter Milky Way Cookie Bars in a 9 x 13 glass baking dish and a metal cake pan.

For most cookie bars, the edges will start to pull away from the sides slightly. You can use a toothpick to determine if anything sticks just like a cake. But, keep in mind, that these particular bars have the milky ways and the chocolate and caramel do melt and give the appearance of raw cookie dough in the middle.

Yes. Cool completely, wrap and freeze. Separate bars with waxed paper. They will last up to 6 months frozen

What candy would you mix in with the peanut butter?
