I have been on a smoothie kick lately. I’ve been making a smoothie at lunch time every day trying to cut my “meals” back. When I have my smoothie at lunch, then I only have a small snack between then and dinner.

Easy Watermelon Smoothie Recipe

At first, I wanted to make an easy watermelon smoothie recipe. Then I thought I could up the taste game a little and at the same time have more benefits by doubling up my fruit intake.

Watermelon and Apple Smoothie Benefits

Besides the fact that we should be getting about 2 cups of fruit each day, there’s health benefits. Go check all the other wonderful benefits of watermelon and apple specifically. My Apple Watermelon Smoothie has a total of 3 cups of fruit. That’s your fruit serving for the day!

What fruit goes with with watermelon?

Apple pairs nicely, as far as taste goes. Both have a higher content of water. And water is good. Other than apples, avocados, lemons, limes, berries, coconut and other melons are just a few.

Can you mix watermelon and yogurt?

Yes. I think people ask this question because watermelon has a high water content. However, it is a great combination. Try the Apple Watermelon Smoothie and you will see.

What does it take to make the Apple Watermelon Smoothie?

Only 4 ingredients to make this smoothie.

  • Watermelon
  • Apple
  • Coconut Water
  • Yogurt

  1. When I was in my early twenties, I used to be a member of a juice club. The owner would make these amazing fruit smoothies, among other things, and I’d get them every Friday after work. I’ve always love fruit smoothies, but it’s been years since I’ve had one.
