Peanut Butter Captain Crunch Treats
Kinda looks like there are ants on the Peanut Butter Captain Crunch Treats. When my daughter got up and saw these after I made them, she thought the little chocolate sprinkles were ants. I’m wondering if maybe instead of the chocolate sprinkles, I should have used chocolate syrup or more colorful ones anyway.
This is a take on the classic Rice Krispy Treats. I just alternated the rice krispies for peanut butter Captain Crunch cereal. I love peanut butter better. Don’t judge me.
You can make these for a yummy breakfast or an after school treat. I know kids will love these as much as me. Right?

All you need is cereal, marshmallows, butter, toppings (if desired) and cooking spray. That’s it. Set it and forget it!

Peanut Butter Captain Crunch Treats
Equipment
- 9×13 Baking dish
Ingredients
- 6 Cups Captain Crunch Cereal – Peanut Butter
- 10 oz Pkg Marshmallows, Mini
- 3 Tbsp Butter
- Chocolate Sprinkles
- Cooking Spray
Instructions
- Spray a 13 x 9 baking dish with cooking spray.
- Pour cereal in a large bowl – set aside
- Add butter and marshmallows in another microwavable bowl.
- Microwave marshmallow and butter just until the marshmallows start to melt. I have a high powered microwave and 1 minute was fine. The marshmallows will melt a little more as your stirring them.
- Pour melted marshmallows over cereal and mix well.
- Pour cereal/marshmallow mixture into 13 x 9 dish. Press down to form.
- Hint: Put a baggie on your hand and spray with cooking spray to press down the mixture. This way, it won’t stick to you. You’re welcome.
- Add sprinkles (if desired) and press down again. Let cool and set for about 2 hours or more. Cut into squares and enjoy!!
Hehehehe
