Ingredients
1tubeRefrigerated French Bread
4cupsShredded Mozzarella CheeseOr 2 cups of cheese, see instructions below.
1/2lbDiced Turkey
5Sliced Green Onions
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°
Spray baking sheet (you can also cover the baking sheet with foil)
-Dice turkey
-Shred cheese (if you didn't buy it already shredded)
-Slice green onions
-Layout a sheet of saran wrap big enough to unroll the french bread dough.
-Unroll french bread, or spread it out.
Layer the turkey, 2 cups of the cheese and green onions on top of the dough.
-Roll the dough up, pinch the seam.
-Place seam side down.
-Cut several diagonal slits on the top of the roll.
Bake 22-25 minutes, or until lightly brown.
-Remove from the oven and sprinkle the remaining cheese on top. (You can skip this step and use all of the cheese within the stromboli, or just cut the cheese in half)
Cool for 5-10 minutes and then slice.
Notes
You can totally customize this Stromboli. Add bacon. Change the meat and use ham, chicken, pepperoni, the list goes on. Instead of using mozzarella, use cheddar jack or your favorite cheese. Heck, you can even use different dough. Why not use pizza dough?
