1-2TbspParmesan Cheese, grated

Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°
Flour your surface
Using the 4" cookie cutter, cut 14 hearts out of the crescent dough. You should have to gather up your dough scraps and roll the dough back out to finish the job, at least once.
Using the 3" cookie cutter, cut 7 (or 14 hearts if you are doubling up on the cheese) hearts out of the mozzarella cheese slices.
Brush a crescent heart with the beaten egg.
Place a cheese heart on top of the crescent heart. (making a sandwich)
Place another crescent heart on top of the cheese.
Crimp the edges with a fork by going around the heart and pressing the fork down to seal the dough together. Place on a greased/sprayed baking sheet. Repeat the process until all the hearts have been created.
Sprinkle the hearts with Parmesan cheese.
Bake @ 400° for 8-10 minutes, until lightly browned.
Serve with marinara sauce or Ranch dressing.
