Melt butter over medium heat in a sauce pan. Make sure not to over cook the butter. Slowly add the whipping cream. Stirring constantly.
Add seasonings of your choice. I use salt, pepper, and onion powder.
Turn up the heat and bring the sauce to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until sauce thickens. About 3-5 minutes.
Remove from heat and add Parmesan cheese. Stir until well blended. NOTE: Freshly grated parmesan cheese will melt better.
