Ingredients
4CupsTater Tots, Frozen
1Pkg (13 oz)Turkey Smoked Sausage, Link
1Can (10 3/4 oz)Condensed Cheddar Cheese Soup
1-2CupsShredded Cheese
1/2 CupOnion, Chopped
1/2CupMilk
Salt & Pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat oven to 425°.
Using a 8x8 casserole dish, add 2 cups of the tater tots to the bottom of the pan. You can use more if you prefer.
Slice the sausage, place on top of the tater tots.
Chop the onions, place on top of the sausage. Do you see a trend going here?
In a small bowl, mix the soup, milk, salt and pepper. Pour over onions. This will soak through.
Add the remaining 2 cups of tater tots on top. Place in oven and bake 25-30 minutes. You want the top layer of tater tots crispy and the soup mixture starting to bubble.
Remove from oven. Add shredded cheese. Place back in oven for 5 more minutes.
Remove from oven. Allow to cool at least 10 minutes before serving.
