Ingredients
2CupPinto Beans
8CupWater
1CupOnion, Chopped
1Ham BoneLeftover
1TspOnion Powder
1TspSalt
1TspPepper
Instructions
Soak beans in bowl or pot for 30 minutes to 1 hour. Drain.
In large pot, add ALL ingredients.
Cover and bring to a boil. Boil for about 15 minutes, then reduce to low heat. Cook for 4 - 4 1/2 hours.
