Using the 10" skillet and the leftover grease from whatever you fried, heat the grease (if not already heated) to medium high heat.
Add the flour mix, constantly stirring to avoid clumping.
Keep stirring the flour/grease mixture until it turns brown and it starts to "bubble", slowly boil.
Add 1 cup of milk and continue to stir until well blended. Allow to come to a slow boil.
Add the 1/2 cup of milk until well blended and returns to a slow boil. Turn the heat down to low/simmer for about 5-10 minutes to thicken.
Notes
If you prefer your gravy thicker, omit the 1/2 cup of milk. If you prefer the gravy thinner, add 1/4 cup of milk at a time. Allow to boil before reducing the heat.
