Bacon Ham and Cheese Brunch Bread

This Bacon Ham and Cheese Brunch Bread turned out pretty good. I got this recipe from my “BEST of the BEST of TEXAS II” cookbook. Sounded yummy so I had to try it. I think I would add a touch of sugar though to make it just a tad sweet. Not sure why, but when I bit into it for the first time, that was my first thought. They say to always go with your first thought. I think I would add more bacon too. Hey, does anyone else have a hard time not eating the bacon you make to go in a dish besides me?

There is a messy side to making this bread, however. If you are one of those cooks that do not like getting your hands all goopy, you may want to try mixing it with a whisk or fork instead. I used my hands. That’s one of the things I enjoy about cooking. Getting my hands into it for real.

The bread is loaded too. Tons of ham, and cheese with a little bit of bacon. Just look at it. It would be a great side, or served as the main course with some fruit on the side as well. And for leftovers, this is perfect toasted. Maybe even better. But with the size of it, it is easier to toast in a toaster oven.
